On the Manchester audition show, Chris said:

“I’ve come to Britain’s Got Talent to audition today mainly from pressure from my parents, more than anything else. They’ve been telling me for years and years that I need to do something like this.”

After thrilling the crowd with his rendition of "Maria" from West Side Story, Simon Cowell says:

“Christopher, I would say the problem with you is your lack of conviction, I don’t feel an awful lot of self belief about you.”

Simon adds:

“Christopher, I think you have a really, really good voice, but do we have a star?”

 

Is Christopher Stone the new Susan Boyle?

Put simply, we think it's wrong to compare him to Susan Boyle, Christopher Stone has a FAR BETTER voice!

Chris dropped out of music school aged 20 after his parents had spent more than £60,000 on his career. Now the devoted son has vowed to win the show and its £100,000 first prize so he can pay them back.
